Both, register and renew.
For some reason, very few registrars support the .audio TLD. It looks like the price ranges from $300-$500 USD.

Yeah, I think mine (kelcema.audio) is up to like $15 per year or so. It's getting brutal.

Who's your registrar?
Maybe I just didn't find the right one.

My hosting company charges $129.95 for an .audio domain  :o .  Makes their .p0rn domains look downright reasonable (at $89.95 per year)!

My dad. He is a former network manager at Microsoft, and takes care of a variety of domains for family, friends, and supported organizations.

To be clear, that $15ish is JUST for the domain- and NOT for any hosting... altho the hosting for my .com is on a Mac Mini in the corner of my office, and the .audio is a redirect on one of his computers, I think, so it ends up at the same place.

Either way. We're upset that the registrar is increasing their prices like 20% -- but it'll still be under $20ish per year. He's still looking around for a new registrar.

Lemme know if you want to have him handle your domains. ;-)
