Probably a bit bulky to clip onto a strap!

Wireless MIDI is out as the whole exercise is to get around the potential unreliability of wireless MIDI avoiding hung notes and such.

I think we're sold on the mono option.

Could do what they used to do with the original "KeyTar" (before there was a keytar) .... the FOH would get on the talkback mic and fake the part more often than the keyboard wireless would work ... :P

Hung notes on wireless midi shouldn't be an issue, all the good systems detect a dropout and send a note off/panic message. The now discontinued cme widi does.
