I got rid of all of my Velcro ties!
I now use bungee cord ties such as the Think Tank red whips.

I ended up making my own.

How do you keep them attached to the cables? Or do you?

I replaced my tie line on mic cables with Rip-Tie Rip-Locks wraps this year - so far very happy.  I think it is a tad faster on clean up and no more untied cables at the next jobs.  https://riptie.com/product/one-inch-wide-rip-lock-cablewrap

PM if interested, I have quite a bit of inventory left.

Just loop it over the end and snug up.   The other option is to just put them around your wrist as you take them off.

Those seem like they're over-engineered and slightly bulky when something simpler will do. If you're using velcro, the Velcro 91140 do great, are cheap, you can cut them to length, and they stay on cables.

I’ve been using these for a few years now. They work great. I leave them attached at the stage box end about 18” to two feet from the end. Work great, easy, and cheap.

I use those and they're pretty effective. I just wish there was a way to make the tip white so I could see it in the dark. I sometimes can't find the end!

I was thinking the same after I typed that. I have a couple so I'll give it a try. I'm thinking it will work for a while but wear off over time.

Try some "wite out" correction fluid. Even come with a brush built into the lid.
