The problem with off the shelf parts, is that they won't match the 12" radius of the slot.
I'm kind of anal about things fitting, so custom sliders it is.

Another thought on Frank's question; since I'm intending for the speaker to sit ON the top rocker plate, I could get away with quite a bit of taper on the post, as the weight won't be on the tip.

Opinions???   Black or Blue for the anodizing?

Blue is sort of the company color and will call attention to the part.
Black is probably more professional.

A dark blue might be visible to someone looking, yet blend in and look pro to those not really interested.  I like the idea of blue...
