Behringer Xenyx 1222fx pro
« on: July 12, 2018, 11:35:17 AM »

Hi there,

I have a Behringer Xenyx 1222fx pro and have a problem with it.

My main mix faders are not altering the volume of sound whatsoever, If I have them on full, the led's on both left and right are flashing as sound is put through.

Every other fader on the desk works perfectly, I can control every other channel ok, seems like the main mix is "stuck" on full power.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did it just start doing this?  Has the unit been dropped or banged around?

When faders lose their grounding plane reference they go full tilt boogie.  It sounds like a ribbon cable is not fully connected or has come off.

Are you saying that the main output level faders ( the pair to the far right) do control the level on the LED metering when moved?

His post is confusing, I can't tell if he's got metering but no output or if he has metering and FULL output regardless of main fader position.
