Chain Motors
« on: June 06, 2018, 09:55:55 AM »

We currently use C&M 1/2 and 1 ton single phase chain motors.  We are looking at trying the 3 phase Chain Master BGV D8

Does anyone have experience with these motors?  Thoughts?

One of our local AV shops uses the Chain Master hoists.  They've had them for a couple of years now and I haven't heard of any issues or concerns with them.

I've rigged a few that came in with tours and the thing I noticed is how quiet they are.  Functionally I don't observe any difference between them and C-M Lodestar.
