Maybe it's terrible of me to say this, but it's nice to see that the other end of the food chain goes through this once in a while too.
I had a full on combat audio weekend last weekend, featuring 4 shows on 3 different pa systems (2 of which didn't have any crossovers set up or tuning done) in rainy weather. One show was a briefcase gig that had a completely different mixer than what was advanced, and that I had never worked with (UI24r). It was supposed to be an X32 compact, which I built show files for.
Everything worked. It sounded good. Everybody was happy. I think I have an ulcer.
Thanks for sharing your experience Mac. Every plan falls apart when the first shot is fired. What you do next separates the pros from the amateurs.
