The Clair Brothers powered wedges can each power one matching Passive wedge.

Those are the only current ones I'm aware of.

K-Array Mastiff KM112 ia an active 12" coax. It will also power the passive version monitor KM112P or a KMT18P subwoofer if you want to use it as a drum fill.

We use the Clair 1AM+.  They can power a satellite passive model.  Killer little boxes!

XiTone speakers have this feature (if requested when ordering).
XiTone speakers are targeted for guitar/bass modeling equipment, but they're just full range coax boxes.
Their wedges are tiny, loud and bulletproof.

The Parts-Express power module aside, I wonder how problematic having the controls on the back side of the wedge - within reach of audience members on certain stages - might be?

About as bad as those Alto SXM 12" coaxial wedges that are favoured around here.
I do agree, though, that having the audience able to adjust the monitor levels would be problematic.

That said, I once did an odd gig where the band insisted on putting a 4x10" bass rig out in the audience, so the audience could adjust the sound to their taste.

Checked it at the end of the set - all controls all the way down.  8)
