yamaha M7cl user define keys
« on: April 29, 2018, 12:43:18 PM »

I was wondering if on the user define keys on the M7CL. If there is a way to cue scene memory on it. I know the LS9 does and I was wondering if the M7CL can do it as well

M7 has dedicated scene store and recall buttons on the surface. You don't need to use a UDK for these features on M7.

Depends on what you need. There's no dedicated "Next" button, nor any dedicated direct-recall buttons.

"Cue Scene Memory"? What do you mean exactly?

No next button, but you can navigate the scene memory list with the up and down buttons, and push "recall". Recall confirmation can be turned on/off.

Yes, but that would be way too slow for a Broadway-style mixer. Those shows need a dedicated "next" button, as close to the VCAs as possible.

Jack,

Yes, you can set any of the UDKs to act as  a direct scene plus or minus.  I use them all the time for theatrical events.... saves a few button pushes.

Jack,

Go to the Setup page, then select Preferences --> User Define Keys.

Touch on the UDK Icon, and the options you want are under the "SCENE" category.  INC Recall goes up one scene, DEC Recall goes down one scene.
