Hand Bells
« on: May 16, 2018, 12:50:19 PM »

Hey all,

Our church has a really nice, large set of hand bells that it hasn't used in at least 12 years and we are wanting to sell them.

Does anyone know how we could find out value and how/where would be a good place to sell?

I could do ebay, but no idea how much, I also need to figure out shipping as it is a huge set.

any info would be helpful,

thanks

Look for similar items on sale, if you can only find individual units then put some form of discount on the complete set but add the individual prices together.

Another good option would be to try sell it to some other local churches, reach out to those around you and find out if they would maybe need a set and how much they would be willing to sell it for.

A call or email to Christine Anderson with information might take care of it quickly.  Google Christine Anderson Handbells... She's one of the handbell evangelists - at least in the Baptist church

Awesome, thank you. I will look her up and contact her.

Edit - I also see she is a Malmark rep, I contacted the local rep, but he was unsure about used ones. I am not sure, but guessing they may also have some contractual obligations that limit their ability with used stuff too.
