Why re-invent the wheel ?
It's clear by now that the XLR will last forever.....
Just look at it's history.
It WAS around since God said "Let there be great sound"
.. or was that let there be light......

The rock was probably an artifact used by the Piltdown Man ;^).
...or quite possibly Teardown Man, or early Loadout Man ;)
