Ouch...

You gotta wonder what exactly was coming through their monitors and why they didn't rip them out and go it without them.  At least they might have been able to sync to the tracks.

You mean something is wrong?  How can you tell over the crowd noise?   :P

FWIW I can't watch the FaceSpace clips as I don't use their service so I watched the Youtube link provided by Lee.  Are they different?

Either way I'm glad to see American sport event bad manners in full display ;)

They must not have been aware of the issue or they would either pulled out their iems or stopped the show until resolved.

It was just this message:

Quote
To All of Our Fans:
Last night during the PAC-12 Games Halftime Show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, we encountered a technical glitch of our sound support system during our performance that was out of our control. The in-ear monitors that we depend on to hear the instrumental music tracks, totally failed, leaving us unable to be in sync with the music. No one is more devastated by this turn of events, than us.

We apologize to all of you for not being able to bring you the high caliber of performance we always strive to deliver to our audiences worldwide.
- Michael Clift, The Australian Bee Gees Show

Cool.  From the YouT clip it seemed something was off but the crowd noise was such that it took some time to figure out what was going on.  OH, it's NOT a lip sync?  ;)
