Wondering if anyone out there has info and hands on experience on how to change out the internal battery on a KT DN9848.  After well over 10 years ours has finally failed and all of the pre-sets have been wiped out.  Upon opening the unit up it becomes quickly apparent that the battery is not easy to remove/replace.  With almost zero tech support available from KT, and no specific info in the manual, we're at a loss for what to do.  Please help if you can.

That would be nice Ray but they never respond in a public way so as to be useful for others.  It's always we'll contact you (offline).  MT/MG/Behringer don't actually respond in publically useful ways in public forums.

Eric, that's what Ray was saying.
We've all seen this type on answer from the B Mothership.
While it is "nice" to see them paying attention, I'll bet it's Bots, not people that are perusing the boards, and flagging posts that may be of interest.
Then, the standard answer.....

Now, since life is a 2-way street, where are all the posts from the OP's saying WHAT was done to fix their problem ?
That would be of great value as the Mothership doesn't seem to be so inclined.
