I wish you could color code the scene titles on the CL5
« on: February 16, 2018, 04:16:56 PM »

I wish you could color code the scene titles on the CL/QL consoles.

Would be greatly helpful when you're doing a show and you can have the emcees in one color, scenes with the orchestra in pit in another color, scene with the band on stage in a different color, acapela numbers in a different color.

Leland, can you forward that request to the programmer gurus in Japan? Thanks.    ;)

I'm just waiting for scene timing to apply to things beyond just the channel fader (pan, mix sends).  Software hasn't been updated since 3/1/17...

I'd love to see individual insert point selection on the two channels inserts.

Not likely to happen on the CL/QL. PM10 maybe...
However, if that's important to you, my software can do that with most of the Yamaha consoles.

It does, but not well for a full cast moving from side to side. Midi bogged down. Was successful with panning one, maybe 2 channels at once.

Hey Mike;
Did we talk about this already?
Fire off an email reminding me, I’d like to check into this.

good idea, I would like also to have a color wheel/picker for the channel labels. The fixed colors are quite basic and it's hard to tell a difference between some of them; blue/violet and no white either.

Hi Justice and Ivan!

I will forward both requests to the design team.  Never hurts to ask! ;)

Ade -- I think I asked about the possibility of separating the insert points before.  I'll have to check my notes and get back to you.
