Wireless Volume Control of keyboard/amp from Directors Podium
« on: February 14, 2018, 10:51:08 AM »

I direct a high school choir that sings in our churches 12-15 times a year.  We sing anthems with both the choir alone and with the congregation throughout the service.  I travel with a Roland Fathom Keyboard and a Roland K550 amp to use for accompaniment for the songs because many of the small churches don't have in tune pianos or accompaniment instruments in the front of the church from where we sing.  I am looking for a way to control the volume wirelessly of the PA of the keyboard/amp so that I don't have to have a student constantly changing it from the piano throughout the songs.  I have the best opportunity as the conductor to know the mix and want to control if the piano is to loud or soft.  I'm looking for a way to make this happen?  Thoughts please?

You could buy any of the cheap wireless equiped mixers, like Behringer XR12, and use your phone to control that.

I was thinking the same thing.

If you don't need a big channel count the little Mackie's are super nice.

Mackie Mixer

Broken linky. Here's the fixed link.
