I've heard that airline pilots are required to have separate meals.

Quote
Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight?

Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice of steak or fish.

Rumack: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna.

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

More of the classics.

I was typing the message from my phone, I should have taken pictures to communicate the depravity of the scene.  They had a Monday special at the buffet so it seemed a nice gesture to bring the crew.  First off, you can go up more than once so why would anyone put so much on their plates that food is falling off on the way back to the table.  So they are heading back from the buffet, plate in each hand leaving a trail back.  Before their butts hit the chair the food is inhaled and the stack of plates is getting impressive.  I was really concerned when they refilled the crabs the guys were going to glove up and grab the whole steamer tray.

This went on for almost an hour unabated.  Then full of beer, sushi and all sorts of fried pseudo oriental crap they grab soup bowls and hit the soft serve ice cream machine.

Next time I will just order pizza.

No, it was Spock to Kirk, explaining repair times to various systems,
Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan

1:04:03 "Admiral, if we go by the book, like Lt. Savick, hours would seem like days."

Guess I should find a REAL hobby......

Hi Scott. I have been recording it, and watching when convenient. For being set 10 years before TOS, uhhhh. well.... I guess....
The current bit referring to the Defiant is a real stretch. That happened in 3rd season TOS. How it drifted back in time I don't know. Also, they refer to records of Archers ship from Start Trek - Enterprise, as being how Star Fleet knew of the defiant. I have never watched Enterprise so I don't know if the creative team is pulling a fast one or if there is back story to this.
Sure, the effects are world class, but I haven't decided if it's a keeper or not.
Personally, I "know" TOS and Next Generation. Never got into DS-9, Lost (Voyager), or Enterprise.

What are your thoughts ?
Chris.

Faulty memory then.   No surprise since I keep thinking about the hereafter.

A friend of mine who is a musician has a quote from her dad; “musicians are like coyotes, they are opportunistic eaters”.

Insert crew where appropriate.

There is a parody of the pest control commercial, wherein the lady of the house made the mistake of feeding critters who now will not leave her home.  In the parody the critters are *musicians.*

"You didn't feed them, did you?"
