Equipment repair / trouble shooting
« on: January 25, 2018, 10:02:16 PM »

Is there a particular area on the forum that would be good for posting about troubleshooting a Yamaha effects processor or would that be considered off-topic?

Either here or the Lounge. Depends on the "level" of the unit. If it's a "higher end" unit that would be found more with regional/national companies, touring systems, etc, the Classic LAB would be better. If it's a low-end unit for more of bar bands, "weekend warriors," etc, better to shoot the post to the Lab Lounge. Many of the same people frequent both areas; just the Classic LAB is aimed at the higher tier of professionals (touring techs, dealing with regional/national acts, fortune 500 corpAV, etc).

Might as well update THIS post with your issue :) , and if it should go to the Lounge, a moderator will happily move it for us!

Are you calling "troubleshooting" component level repair or operation?
