User manual for Clear Com TW12 B ?
« on: January 16, 2018, 10:48:17 AM »

The only docs I can find online are for the C version.  Does anyone have a link for the B model user manual?

It's on the Clear-Com web site under "Discontinued Partyline User Manuals".

Correction. The link is wrong, The listed TW-12B goes to the TW-12C manual!

Here's the proper link.

Glancing at the TW12C manual that Andrew linked to it looks like they have the same controls in the same place. Basically System 1 is one system and 2 is the other. You set the switches for RTS or CC depending on what kind of system is on each side then you null. To null, plug in an earpiece and push the null button. You will hear a beeping sound. Go through the LRC pots and adjust for lowest level of beep. You will have to cycle through the process several times to get a good null. Ideal is no beep, but you usually don't get there.

Pretty much changes in the labeling yes.  I've got a TW12B on which the test tone isn't being generated with the null button and the schematic wasn't lining up with what I found on the circuit board. The Clear Com web site was lying to me thus the request.  Curt came thru in record time.  Thanks.

Somebody asked me the other day what the difference was between the TW12B and the TW12C.  I told them “the color.  The C stands for Blue”.  :)
