Ql stagemix

I have an ipad 1 with an ql stage mix v5. Will it work with ql console with latest firmware installed. I suppose not, but I wanted to ask just in case. If I update to a newer ios iPad will definitely  slow down(Been there, done that :'( ). Any experiences? Thanks

I have an iPad 2 that no longer receives iOS updates, and am running StageMix 7.0.1 with a QL1 running the newest firmware with no issues.  It is noticeably slower than running StageMix on an iPad Air 2, but I attribute that to the older platform.
