Ewww....  NOLA CC was where i first experienced the multipath FS issue that has since been very well documented.

I don't remember what hall we were in and i've not worked in that space enough to know if the ceiling design is consistent throughout.  But where i was had a metal roof that was peaked creating perfect little 45 degree bounce points to send the RF caroming right back down.  It was a pretty awful experience.

IIRC i had some conversations with you when i was in that space about using pizza pans and other solutions.  And i did make black wrap shields while i was there to help mitigate the issue with only limited success.

I"ll try to find out which hall we were in.  Hopefully it'll NOT be one of the one's like i had...

Okay, more info...

We were in Hall D.  But i strongly suspect that the room construction is somewhat similar thoughout the building.

The roof is not super high.  One thing we noticed anecdotally was that when our A3 went up in the lift to focus the flown delays, his beltpack got a LOT more stable, as though reducing the distance to the ceiling was enough to mitigate the reflection timing issues.  It's possible that locating the FS transceivers as near to the ceiling as possible may do much to help reduce the problem.

Good luck.  I'd love to hear how it turns out.
