The SM 80/ TH 118  has been a great sounding, compact and powerful rig. It's very manageable for one person to setup and breakdown.

I moved from an  SRX and EAW KF rig and couldn't be happier.

I have SM80/TH118 and it is compact and good sounding, and easy for a single person.  I also have d&b Q10 (and Q1 for line array), which work well with the TH118 as well and can be done with by one person.  And I have SRX725, which work great on those subs too, but are a bit too much for most people to do as a one person gig.  Getting all speakers up on a pole on a sub can be potentially heavy and awkward.  Stands are easier for one person, but look less "clean" in my mind.  All of these options sound very good and would work well in the space described, but I can't comment on the RCF as I haven't heard it.

K-Array makes several systems that are light, portable, easy transport and set up.
They are not cheap. Probably in the 12-20k Euro range for a LR set up.

OK, me again.

I am planning for next outdoor season. As always i have about 35-40 gigs outdoors. This year the coverage area will be a lot bigger than last year: about 75 feet deep compared to about 50 feet last year. I'm gonna need some more horsepower. Let's say about >130dB broadband cont. But i want to keep it a one man operation, with fast load in and -out, and as little lifting as possible. People are mostly seated.

As i am a RCF shop i am looking at: TTL6-a tops with Sub 9007-as per side.

The 9007 (roughly w120xh70xd80cm) will be on a DIY wheeled cart (80x120 cm), with the front facing forward. This will give me a height of about 85 cm (70cm+plywood+wheels). The TTL6-a (h110xw37xd47cm, 53kg ) will be on its face on top of the sub for (short distance) transport. That way i only have to tilt the top for a stack height of about 195cm. Occasionally i would have to tilt the sub too for greater height, or stack 2x sub 8004, and use the 9007 for infra, but that would be a two person job.

I have been looking for other systems which would deliver enough oomph over this distance, but i haven't found any which are as easy to set up. I also want to stay away from dash-arrays, for hassle, price and sound quality reasons.

My question: Have i overlooked something? Are there other systems i can look at?
Keep in mind that i am located in north-western europe.

Mostly live music ranging from singersong, country, blues to full rock/funk/reggae bands, with the occasional DJ.

BTW: Have i mentioned that i am lazy as hell, or did you guys/girls already figure that out?   

I had the same problem, as much power and sound quality that I could transport and set up in a medium sized van with one person. I ended up building my own system pictured below but in the process I looked at everything I could find. 

Note: how the K&M pole drops down into the middle of the sub to make set-up easy. At 35kgs it does take 2 people to lift the speaker onto the pole. In addition I made a 3.2m pole that clips on the back of the sub (double 21”) and can winch up 100kgs with a battery drill  … no lifting  also in the picture.

EAW KF394 that someone has already mentioned looked interesting as did TW Audio’s T24n. The RCF  TTL6-a that you mentioned looked great but a little heavy.  Danley’s SM80 was good but I was looking for more SPL.

The interesting thing with the T24 is that it does offer some scalability.

Another one would be Seeburg’s K-24 but I suspect that the 60 degrees of coverage is a bit narrow. http://www.seeburg.net/en/speakers/k-24/1

Peter, what's the lift in the picture?

Its something that I designed and built. It's 3.2m (10.5 ft) high and is designed to lift about 100kgs. It clips on the back of a double 21" sub. The sub gives a large enough base to be stable at that height and the winch and pole have the appropriate safety factors etc.

The whole system was designed to fit in a van and to be set up with one person etc.
