I always wondered why the robot fighters in science fiction were such crappy shots with their lazer weapons, you'd think they would never miss...

Don't try to watch a video about all the things you can do with your new Google Home Mini while the Mini is in the room and on.

Mac
I have had the home for a year and got my sis the mini at Thanksgiving.   Have it call your favorite pizza joint and you can order right through it.  You can make phone calls through it.   News, weather, outside temp.   You can even play trivia just ask it and it will ask how many players.   I love the technology.    Connected to the "Mother" computer.
I was helping my son do some math homework and we needed a a trig formula.   Asked google and she had the formula.
Love it!

Mac, since December 8, my wives birthday, we have added a Google Home and two Google Mini units.  Now we are adding 'smart lights'.  All I have to do is say 'Hey Google, dim the living room light to 50 percent'.  I am the epitome of laziness right now.

Hmmm, I wonder if that was auto-incorrect in action again, or do you have more than one wife?  I also wonder if you can do timed fades?  Will it also work if you say "Hey Google, bring the house to half".

I don't know about architecture, but it would begin ones descent into either stage management or electrics dept.
