This was on my mind, as I just renewed.

Chris.
When I was in the army about a hundred years ago, I worked in battalion level S4 so we were over the mess halls. I recall when out in the field, a big tin of coffee was great for bartering.

At harbor Freight where they have a sweet deal on sealed cases made by Apache. They are very much like Pelican cases at half the cost. I am using them for cables and other peripherals. They come with pick apart foam and seem to made quite well. Haven't dropped one yet, but at $40 bucks for a case that is roughly 15" X 7" X 10.5" it is hard to beat.

I bought two of these cases a few weeks ago when they were on sale.  They're not as nice as Pelican cases, but still a great value at their price point.

https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Systems-Optimization-Techniques-Alignment/dp/0240521560

A bit over $55 but worth it. . .

Order it by clicking through the link on his website and he makes a few more farthings...

Also if you're an AES member you get a discount code for all Focal Press offerings (see today's AES email) at the Focal store.  For this book it's about $2 cheaper than Amazon.  Oddly I had to search for Bob's book.

https://www.routledge.com/audio/products/SCAR7060 is the audio production dept of the Focal Store.
