This is the real key.  If we can see the network settings on the X32 i'm betting we can get you steered right fairly easily.

Also, i have to ask.  There are 3 different connection types on the back of teh X32 [4 if you have the dante card], all of which use RJ45.  Are you sure you're connecting to the network connection?  I've made this mistake myself after connecting them successfully many times, so it's an easy enough oops to make.

Leave the X32 IP where it is (10.1.1.120).

On the X-touch, "Slave IP" should be set to the X32's address (10.1.1.120). Use the knobs above the scribble strips to change the IP.

Still on the X-Touch, turn the network knob (above channel 3's scribble strip) until you see "My IP". This sets the address of the X-Touch. Set this one to 10.1.1.121.

Any time! I'm not sure it's listed anywhere, actually. I remember watching this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVxYpA5cYY4) when I got my X-Touch, which got me started. Bob Leonard's sticky on a basic sound network using all static IP addresses (http://forums.prosoundweb.com/index.php/topic,158019.0.html)helped me in setting up my mobile production network too.
