Details regarding your network setup?  Using a switch or router?  DHCP?  Do you have a computer in the mix?

And i have to ask.  This is the X-Touch and not the X-Touch Compact, right?

My experience has been that so long as both the X32 and the X-Touch were on the same Network [even if self-assigned] the X-Touch had no trouble 'finding' the X32 once i pushed the encoder on the X-Touch to search for it....

Did you hold the select button on channel 1 down while powering up the X-Touch? This allows you to put it in different control modes.

But only if you have the correct firmware installed.

Tried it with 2 other X32's...no connection. I'm missing something.

Are you using a router, or some device that is assigning IP addresses? If not, you need to turn DHCP off and assign compatible IP addresses to both the X32 and the X-touch. For example, assign one device 192.168.1.101 and another device 192.168.1.102. If I remember correctly, when the X-Touch has DHCP turned off, there is a way to tell it what the address of the X32 is.

You are showing the remote tab in one of your pictures. We need to see the Network tab to see the network settings. In the picture that shows the X-Touch, if the number under channel 3 is the Subnet Mask that number needs to be 255.255.255.0. And if the number under the channel 2 is the IP Address (I assume it is) it needs to match all but the last Octet. Each group of 3 numbers is called an Octet. So if the X-Touch is 169.254.010.001 on the X32Rack it needs to have the first 3 sets matching (169.254.010.) and the last set of 3 numbers not matching, so it should be something like 002. So on the X-Touch 169.254.010.001 and on the X32Rack 169.254.010.002.

This is assuming that these are the only 2 things hooked up together, if you have a network switch and a computer then you still need the Subnet Mask set to 255.255.255.0 and all the other devices need to have all but the last Octets matching.

I don’t have nor have I used an X-Touch (just the XTC which is different) but I have played a lot with the networking of the consoles.

I hope this is some help. If you still need more help someone on the Behringer forum would probably be able to help you more.

This is the real key.  If we can see the network settings on the X32 i'm betting we can get you steered right fairly easily.

Also, i have to ask.  There are 3 different connection types on the back of teh X32 [4 if you have the dante card], all of which use RJ45.  Are you sure you're connecting to the network connection?  I've made this mistake myself after connecting them successfully many times, so it's an easy enough oops to make.

I would use a router with wlan, and connect the xtouch and the x32 to that, using the network connector.
