Here’s a funny one - I have a Soundcraft Performer-2 that, when ‘security locked’, touching anywhere on the on-screen keyboard causes the screen to flicker - and the on-screen keyboard to disappear.... so he user can’t punch in the password to unlock the surface.
Eventually tapping the screen a dozen times allowed the keyboard to stay on long enough to punch-in the password.
Once unlocked, everything is fine.
This happened two shows ago, did not happen on the last show, and just happened again. Environments are all similar - cushy ballrooms. Well cared for, in a nice case, no changes in firmware after it went into service, and about a year old.
Previous to this, I had a different performer that developed a few bad faders, was replaced by the distributor at the time with this unit.
The only issue is this issue on the screen, and only when locked.
Has anyone else experienced similar?
