LED panel suggestions
« on: January 03, 2018, 12:32:02 AM »

If you needed 2 ~16’x9’ led walls, 4mm-6mm pitch and ip rated, what would you be looking at? I currently have Chauvet PVPX6ip panels but may be losing them to a tour soon. Thoughts? We are a regional production company.

Absen most likely, if I was going from not having a product to making an initial purchase

If I already was invested in one product, I'd probably expand on my inventory of that particular product as I needed more inventory.

Disclaimer, I know nothing about LED Walls, just that I like them and I have direct access to a very old one.

Wouldn't you want the same make/model so if you need to use both at same time you get same color/brightness/contrast?

Thanks for the replies guys. Chauvet will still make the panels I have, but they are effectively discontinued. If this tour deal goes through I would have fully depreciated and would be ready to sell my current panels regardless. That’s why I’m looking to go a fresh direction. Panel tech has improved as well, so if buying new I want to get latest tech

in that case, look into the absen Xv series, and see if you can get them with the brompton processing over the novastar, as they’re better processors over all
