Okay, my turn.

I had a Behringer active D.I. that literally stopped passing audio in 2 weeks. But it looked so cool. Shiny and had big rubber corners.  Also, used an Audio Centron sound board at a church once; that thing had the headroom of rotten log. What a piece of crap. It sounded like I had put a pillow over the horns. And probably, anything Sound Tech.

I never had any luck with Yamaha GC2020 comp/limiters.

You could run audio through them with the threshold high, and as the threshold was decreased, all of a sudden they'd go into 10 of more dB of gain reduction.  Nothing subtle about them at all.

I have used one (not mine) as a "Monitor Angle Optimization Adjuster", a door stop, and a wheel chock. All at the same show!
Quite a useful piece of kit, as long as it's out of the signal chain.

I have two of them. They are beat to hell but are STILL working. Both of them have lost the nuts that secure the 1/4" jacks to the front. Anybody know where I can find replacements? They are the only pieces of B I own. I refused to jump on the bandwagon when their X series mixers started getting noticed.

Though I haven't used them in years, I had some of those Behringer DI's.  When my much more expensive BSS's had noise/hum problems, I used the Behringers to solve the problem.  Hated the dual pad switches.

Anything with the word "exciter" or "maximizer" attached to its description or name.
Loft quad gate.
Mackie 350 v2 or whichever was the model the would mute and unmute randomly during playback. There was an entire version that had the same issue in every unit.
