I had not thought of her in years, she is Canadian.  Now you have me thinking of the Celtic bands I would love to work with:

Steeleye Span
The Sunday's
Nightnoise (Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill is angelic)

Not sure it would be life changing, but Steeleye Span would be a show I'd buy tickets to...  I've got a bunch of their vinyl.

The other Celtic band which I wouldn't mind working with would be Clannad.

TSO (I definitely couldn't do a better job and I haven't heard a live show either)
Celtic Woman (I think I could do a better job mixing as I've heard it)
Mosaic or Hillsong or Bethel (Not better, but could be on-par with I would think)

Yes...I'm young, don't shoot me mkay; someone's gotta take the mantel when you're all gone/retired :P

Tough question...  I think I'd have to go with Steely Dan circa 2000 (when they shot the live DVD at Sony Studios NYC).

    Walter Becker - bass, guitar
Donald Fagen - organ, piano, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer
    Ted Baker - piano
    Jon Herington - guitar
    Tom Barney - bass
Cornelius Bumpus and Chris Potter - saxophone
    Michael Leonhart - trumpet
    Jim Pugh - trombone
    Ricky Lawson - drums
Carolyn Leonhart, Cynthia Calhoun and Victoria Cave - vocals

If the band sounds great, it's because the band IS great, if the band sound like crap, it's the soundman's fault.

Opinions expressed by me on this forum are my own and not necessarily those of the company for which I work.

Is that the same Ricky that was told not to lose that number?

Nope, that was Rikki.

This Ricky unfortunately passed away a few years ago and WAY too soon.

I had a chance to meet Paul O'Neil the TSO founder back in the late 90's when they brought the show to Cleveland for the first time.  He was possessed of a singular vision.  It's an amazing production I hope it can carry on his legacy.

Celtic Women makes me want to vomit it's way too schmaltzy.

I have seen and helped out as volunteer crew for Hillsong United.

Interesting choices.

I opened for him in 68', and have always wanted to mix for Eric Clapton working with any band.

Peter Gabriel, hands down. He's not even close to my favorite artist, but his music is so rich and full and textured it would be really fun (with a bunch of rehearsal).
