Peter Gabriel, hands down. He's not even close to my favorite artist, but his music is so rich and full and textured it would be really fun (with a bunch of rehearsal).

His daughter Melanie is excellent also.  The first time I saw them put them in a harness and perform Downside Up suspended from a circular truss segment was amazing.

Dream gig wish list: Frank Zappa, Pat Metheny, Lyle Lovett and his Large Band, Take 6, Gordon Goodwins Big Phat Band.

Dream gigs I've actually mixed: Ron Carter Trio, Turtle Island Quartet, The Brubeck Brothers,
The Mersey Beatles (about as close as you'll get to mixing the actual Beatles), Stan Kenton alumni band.

In another post someone mentioned they would give up a career full of gigs for one night with Earl Scruggs.  That got me to thinking, who would I really like to mix.

-SRV at any point
-Dave Matthews Band in the 'Ant's Marching' years
-Joe Bonamassa today

AC/DC would be a lot of fun.
Steel Panther would be pretty fun too...

AC/DC would be a lot of fun.

First time I saw them in person was a concert all in Tokyo Japan.  Buddy of mine got "front row" tickets - literally standing in front of the stage barrier.....and 5 ft away from their massive row of subs.  Practically had to get folks to write messages as my hearing just disappeared for several weeks....and that's with using ear plugs....but it WAS fun!

I have Hackett's "Voyage of the Acolyte" and "Please Don't Touch" on vinyl.  Still give them an occasional spin and relive the glory days of prog rock. 8)

It's barbecue, not BBQ.

If you are going to be pedantic, go all out and correct people on the spelling of "Night".
