In my experience you wouldn't need 4 x 828's anyway - just a pair to match well with a pair of SRX815's ... or alternatively 4 x SRX818's - unless you require heavy amounts of low end.

My setup is (1) 818 and (1) 815 per side. It sounds great, but when I stack the single 18's together with the 815 above (single stack) it sounds even better!

Last question, slightly off-topic...Can anyone recommend a rental company in or near Los Angeles or Orange county, CA?  I am in the San Gabriel Valley outside of LA and found a company in San Diego, but that is a couple of hours away.

Small world!  The time to either San Diego or Santa Barbara would not be too bad normally, but in this case I am heading out to the river early morning after the event which would affect the return time.
