Is there any professional wireless audio equipment that broadcasts a digital security key of some kind to mute the audio signal when the key is not present?
For new outdoor speakers installation on a 3000 sq-foot patio, the church is asking if I can use wireless audio to eliminate speaker wires and ugly surface conduit. This seems a little risky to me using standard Sennheiser G3 or similar wireless equipment because anyone can be in the area and broadcasting on same ISM band audio channel. I need a way of blocking the "always powered" receiver from passing anything but the desired transmitter's signal. The patio system's transmitter will be "mostly off", so I can’t simply overpower the channel.
