Worst storm to hit south China in 5 years.  I'm in the mid-west (Chongqing) right now and it's raining cats a dogs.  Some folks just got through from Hong Kong and said the wind was insane.  Buildings swaying like everything.  My flight back to CA is booked for tomorrow.  Hope I make it.

All is good for the moment. Surf is up. Was able to catch a few.

They are predicting a direct hit for us. Maybe a Cat3.

Going to be a mega rain event. I'm close to the Gulf but high and dry from floods or storm surge.

Be safe!  This one sure picked up in a hurry.  It reminds me of Matthew's close call to Florida's East Coast last year.  We got lucky and avoided a landfall event.  Best of luck to you and the others in the path of the storm!
