Please Help... totally newbie here
« on: August 16, 2017, 05:16:40 PM »

Hi, I just purchased 2 - Chauvet DJ Geysers P6
I want to created a lighting show that is synced to our backing tracks.

What software should I use and or controller should I use?
I need it to be completley automated and hands free, while we perform.

Thank You,

Noon with high aspirations

Martin M-PC is free to download and try out. You can get an Entech USB dongle for a single universe of DMX output or any ARTnet device for up to 4 universes.

How do you plan on syncing the lighting to the backing track? MIDI, timecode, something else?

M-PC can use MIDI, timecode, and a lot more with the included MX Manager software. You'll just need to get the interface hardware.

Thanks for the reply Josh
Syncing was part if what I was trying to figure out, I assume it would be time code through whichever software I select?

Enttec has 2 programs. DMXIS is a software/hardware DMX program, and Show Buddy allows you to program a show to a click track.

Timecode is probably the best way to do it.
