Anyone have any experience with the Rcf s8028 subwoofers?
What can you tell me about them
What do you like, dislike about them?

What is their output like compared to Let's say an Eaw sb1000...?

Considering these subs but haven't had a chance to hear them yet so I'm doing some preliminary research. Haven't found much of anything on here about them.

Any other subs I should consider (for indoor/outdoor duty)?

They appear to be intended for installation, but your indoor/outdoor duty comment implies you'll be moving them fairly regularly - in which case, choose something with decent handles and castors.

Beyond that, haven't used this model so can't comment, sorry.

For anyone else to give credible recommendations however, they'll need to know a bit more about your intended use (size of venues, required SPL & LF extension etc), transport/storage limitations (if any), budget limitations (if any) etc etc etc.

The S8028 is intended for permanent installations. We are an RCF dealer and have sold a few of these for installs and they are a fine sub, but are not intended for mobile applications, we have much better solutions for that, depending on what tops you have, size of venue (outdoor or indoor) etc.

The SUB8006 is a VERY potent dual 18" box, and is powered. THis box is very reasonably priced for what it is. IF you don't need dual 18" the SUB 8004 is the single 18" version of the 8006. Let me know what your requirements are and I can quote you a number of options.
