I would suspect that the one RX antenna was near, within 6', of a TX antenna.  after that that the antenna, coax or DA was defective.

Did you see anything on your SA.  did you look in peak mode?

What was the squelch setting?

Is the circus tent a key clue?

I will take a wild guess with... Your A antenna aimed directly at the backside of a low quality LED video wall.

I was asked to investigate when they experienced low LQI (link quality) on the 6000 system, even though they had absolutely fine RF levels, and scans before and after show were clean.
They sell kids led toys outside the tent for the kids to bring in:

Apparently they come with a built in Rf noise generator, this is what caused the interference in the video. We did a test setup for the video with only one of the toys 50cm from the antenna, in real life it was 500 toys inside the tent:

I guess Paul wins by default.  500 of those in the seats is kinda like a low quality LED  video wall  8)

Hi Jens,

Out of curiosity, how did the 6k perform under these conditions? Were there audible dropouts or artfacts?

So how are they going to move forward?  Ditch the toys or are they looking for a tech solution?  I could see them having a lot of money tied up in the toys and being rather reluctant to stop selling them.

option 1: Wrap each toy in Cinifoil
option 2: Chickenwire on the downstage edge of the stage.
