B. Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

I don't know of any sound job where you only have to lift up to 25 pounds. And maybe you need to lick the SM58 to taste where it's been??? Oh, you have to be able to "feel" objects. I can feel the beat. I can feel sadness. And I can feel the pain of a too loud drummer when I'm trying to set the snare mic. What else do i need to feel?

"Part Time" = Low wage + NO benefits.

-Dennis
Where I agree that "Part-Time" will mean no benefits, you cannot always assume that it will also mean low wages. I have guys who work for us very seldom (like one shift every couple of months) but they're certainly well-paid. But no benefits. Haha. But really, they're being quite candid and detailed with the scope of work/duties and the skills needed that the job would entail, even if it's simply "part-time." I'm ok with that.

I was more amused with the typographical errors and inconsistencies in the posting. Maybe their next opening needs to be for a proof-reader....... (Or at LEAST an "Additional Responsibility" for someone.)

Any job posting that uses "finger" as a verb will automatically grab my attention.

The "digital" feelie requirements are to let applicants know they need to be capable of those physical activities and have sensory feedback.  IOW, those things can't be made "accommodatable" under the ADA.

I like how the employer describes its Los Angeles facility, and the position is in NYC.  Cool. Attention to organizational details is required (for somebody).

It *mentions* AEG's L.A. properties, but *describes* Barclay Center in Brooklyn.
