I need jbl vrx/srx sub casters, can you post a link to the ones you ordered. Thanks.

W9000-v6 series fit SRX. W9008-v6 if you want brakes. 9004 for fixed wheel.

You can get them at PEs site direct as well as Part Express et al.

Arundel Caster.

http://www.arundelcaster.com

A-C is a small shop (local to me), but the owner knows his stuff and that's all they do.  The last time I went in to try and match a bolt hole pattern from a weird off-brand wheel to something Colson, he threw on his lab coat, pulled all the various parts from the shelves and put something together a-la-carte (this fork with those swivel bearings, that wheel, those axle styles).  It was exactly what I needed, and the service was stellar.

I've used Penn-Elcom in the past, and they're great, but I prefer to go to the local guy if I can.

This is cool.  I didn't know about these guys.  Who are local to me too....  :)

Good info to know.

Frank,
I thought you wanted casters IMMIDIATELY, hence the Home Depot recommendation. In a real clutch they're not a bad source. Good to see the caster depot guy respond.

Bob, my poor communication -- not the first and not the last I'm afraid. What I was trying to ask is where do you all get your casters THESE DAYS, as distributors come and go.

As it turns out, I received my Colson "High Tech" casters from Caster Depot, ne Great Lakes Caster, this morning. They are exactly as expected and I bolted them onto my new mixer case dolly right away. All is good. Thanks everyone.

Is there some free beer in on this deal as well? ;)

Some folks are so nice that you feel mildly guilty just for knowing them. Thank you Caster Depot.

(I'll point out that those beers are NOT available in the SF Bay Area, but the casters are readily available from Caster Depot.)

Casters rated by their ability to clear a 6 pack left unattended on the deck?
