Sony ECM-44 Mic Clip Part
« on: May 19, 2017, 07:12:08 pm »

I use several Sony ECM-44 lav mics.  The clip has a rubber protector over the teeth part of the clip.  One has fallen off and disappeared.

Other than spending money on replacing the clip, I just want to replace the rubber protector.

Anyone have any suggestions of what to use?  I'm drawing a blank.

Heatshrink?
Yeah, I've thought of that, but heatshrink is thin.  I could try 2 layers.

Thanks for the idea.

Heatshrink?

This worked well.  I like how the shrink holds it on.  We'll see how it works.
