Hmm, for about the same money I grabbed a Soundcraft UI-24r from Mike Pyle...  it's pretty awesome.

Looks interesting.

I would also like to hear anyone's experience of this:  https://www.astounded.com/shop/studiomaster-digilive16-16-input-hybrid-digital-mixing-console/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6sjqgYn_1gIVihDTCh1yqw8vEAQYASABEgK9l_D_BwE

Steve.

The Digilive and the SKP D-Touch 20 have the same operating system (which by the way is basically a "built in" Android tablet) and nearly all the same features.  The only notable differences are that the Digilive has a nicer physical build and an AES output that the D-Touch does not have [actually that's not true - the D-Touch DOES have an AES output].  HOWEVER, the D-Touch has recallable trims, whereas the Digilive has only physical trim knobs that are NOT recallable.  For this reason I choose and purchased the D-Touch.

There is no difference between the Soundking DM20 and the SKP D-Touch 20 - only the name.

Mal, I'm glad you like the Soundcraft UI-24r, and frankly I agree it looks like a nice unit.  However because it does not have any physical faders, I don't know that it's fair to compare it to the Soundking DM20, the SKP D-Touch 20, or the StudioMaster Digilive16, all of which do have 9 motorized faders.

Well... I just bought the SKP D-Touch 20 (what appears to be the US release of the Soundking DM20).

I'll post an update as I get a chance to use it more.
Have you tried a USB/ethernet dongle on it?

I use the supplied USB wifi dongle and purchased a second one as a back up for under $5.  I did try another wifi dongle, the LB-Link BL-LW05-AR5, but I was unable the get it to work.  The included dongle works okay, but I'd say the range is limited to about 80 to 90 feet.  I have not tried a USB to Ethernet adapter however.

Does the D Touch have 31 band graphics? I understand the Studiomaster only have 15  band Graphic eq.

The latest software update implemented 31 band geq.

Could you please provide me a link to download the newest firmware?  I've been looking for it, but I can not find it.

Thanks,
Tom

I don't have one of these desks so can't load this to see what version it is, but this is the latest firmware on Thomann's website:

Thanks David.

So "shawnackount" claims the newest firmware now has 1/3rd octave eq's.  Is there a description that details what's new?   I can't find it!
