New luminaire 3 user.   Just did first show using this app and it worked really well. I have very very basic lighting needs and knowledge but being able to easily cobble up scenes and sequences and let them run while I mix audio is great.

But I found I want to have the projects I develop located on other ipod/ipad/iphone as necessary.  I don't use iCloud.   Is that the ONLY way to move a project from apple device to device?

It's possible Airdrop will also work: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204144

Interesting and perfect if that works.  Thanks, I'll try it.

Just curious, are you mixing audio on the same iPad? I know Luminair has split-view capability, as does my Mackie software. So I could possibly run both apps simultaneously.

I tried it but it seemed to really suck the ipad battery down.  That's why I am hoping to make up scenes/sequences and then move the project to an ipod/iphone and start/stop them from there.  The ipod can sit somewhere plugged in mostly or get recharged on breaks.  It's just simple fill / 'color wheel' sort of stuff for live bands.  Mainly to keep them from playing under driveway flood lights.

Not sure about split view.  On i-things you see one app at a time.  Although the x32 app and luminair ran at the same time in the background if I wasn't using one or the other.  I find the x32 app doesn't recover right away when I bring it to the front.  Seems to have to reconnect to the rack / console.

I did try airdrop but my ipad is not v10.+ so I couldn't do it there.  Turned out the normal apple sharing includes email so I emailed the projects to myself and can download them from email easily to any other device.  The normal luminair file sharing (tftp server?) didn't work (could not log in with safari browser) and I didn't bother contacting support about it.

Thanks all.
