Bon Jovi Tour Gear?
« on: April 15, 2017, 09:02:03 PM »

Haven't been able to find any info on his current tour. Anybody know what he's using, who he's out with. A friend saw the show Friday, said it was pretty awesome. He sent a pic of FOH, I couldn't believe the amount of computer monitors! Counted at least 15. I must be getting old, I remember when there weren't any.

Last I heard it was still a Clair account. Knowing Bill Sheppell (FOH Engineer) he's using a Digico. Bill (in my personal opinion) is in the top five engineer's of all time! Not to mention one hell of a guy.
The Clair i3 is the box I've seen in photo's for this tour. Another great product from Clair. As far as the monitors go.. When your recording, using waves (plus there are three monitors built into the Digico's), a couple laptops running Lake software. They can add up. Some engineer's like Sean Sullivan (another engineer in my top 5) he uses cover's over the monitors so you have to be dead on it to see it. Plus he runs his console lights real low as well. Please understand that this is their personal workspace. Just like when you set up, you have a way yourself. Hope this helps answer your questions..

Quick math to get up to 15
3-SD7
2-SD7 external monitors
1-waves tracks
1-SMAART
1or2 lake

3- grandMA full
2 - onPC backup

1 multi view

You know... boys (and girls) and their toys.

I guess having these with the original post would have been nice.

Well damn of course you should have posted the pic. I can read the text on those consoles screens!

Seriously all I can pick out is that there is an SD7

Haha those have to be the lowest-resolution digital photos I've seen in a decade.

Tough crowd! Guess I compressed too much, file size limit isn't too generous either.  I'll repost larger images later.
