You must first and foremost be a team player, willing to work in the oppressive heat, and not be afraid of an occasional alligator citing. This is a full time position with high expectations, but with a GREAT team supporting you. We do a lot of college shows, municipal events and concerts typically in the 1000-2500 person range. We also do a lot of very boring gigs, really depends on the week. But if you have a passion for great production, great team work, and desire to help a great team build a bigger and better lighting and led wall department then we might just have the right balance of fried chicken and hipster vegan ice cream here in the home of the mighty, fighting, buzzer beating Florida Gators.

Job Description: Reports directly to Ownership and/or Operations Manager Position.
Production Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and successful event production on a variety of types of events and technical needs as well as installations of equipment in various venues.
Production Manager is responsible for ensuring all equipment and crew are scheduled, prepared and equipped for success. Production manager will lead crews and effectively communicate with customers and crew. Production Manager will assist Operations Manager in ensuring that all areas of production, sales, and business are running smoothly, safely, and to the highest production standards.
Lighting Designer is responsible for preparing lighting equipment and staff, supervising maintenance of equipment, and in general making sure the lighting and led wall department runs smoothly and to the highest possible standards. Designing and programming shows and events, serving rental clients, and being a tech on events will all be part of the routine.
Knowledge: Production Manager is expected to have general knowledge of all areas of production, sound, backline, lighting, installations, basic rigging, safety, and crew management. Production Manager is also expected to keep up with the latest in technology and techniques of production. Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of organizational leadership and production preferred.
Lighting Designer is expected to keep up with industry standard best practices in lighting design, deployment, maintenance and equipment. Lighting Designer is expected to assist other technicians in proper system deployment and training and make recommendations for rental purchases as well as sales department.
Skills: High Level of Organization is expected to keep crews and clients scheduled, organized and successful. Specific skills in production required, especially in the areas of sound, backline, lighting, and staging. Good communication skills and customer service are required for success. Emails, phone calls, and site visits with clients are all expected.
Abilities: Must be able to load trailers, lift 50+ pounds of weight, work long hours, have transportation, and generally be self-starting and hard working.
Clean, valid drivers license and ability to get a Florida license necessary. Ability to drive 16'-26' box trucks (non-CDL) and pickups with trailers is a must.
