m32 brain lock
« on: February 19, 2017, 07:03:38 AM »

If nobody knows what is going on I will unload it out of the van and take pictures.

I somehow managed to do something wrong and could not get any output of the L/R on the M32.  XLR's patched to l/R ended up repatching them to center to run my show.

If you go to meters page the L/R fader slider on the first tab was at -~.  The main fader would not move it.  Also the scribble strip said "solo".  L/R was turned on every channel and the meters should signal going to that bux.

I have been using the X32 for almost 3 years.  I could not figure out what I screwed up.

Anyone have a clue?

If you look under the monitor menu, it has an option that gives you monitor control on the master fader. Sounds to me like that is turned on.

I don't know about x32, but m32 doesn't need to patched extra other than engaging or deactivating main output, when input is selected, on the "main bus" field

Please upload the scene here, that will tell us if there is a configuration problem or maybe something else.

I don't know about x32

Please go to your profile and change the "Name" field to your real first and last name as required by the posting rules displayed in the header at the top of the section, and in the Site Rules and Suggestions in the Forum Announcements section, and on the registration page when you registered.

As this is my name I don't understand what you mean, sounds as if you don't like my name?

I think you do understand as you have changed your displayed name to comply with the posting rules.

"jr.wadman" wasn't sufficient. "John R. Wadman" is. You're all good now! :)

Bingo - Was using talk back mic and bumped that button going past utility menu.

It does exactly what I described changes master fader to say "solo"
