ULX-D VHF receiver
« on: March 15, 2017, 08:21:14 AM »

I am consulting on a purchase of more ULX-D for a company and am looking at the VHF (V50) range, for a company already using ULX-D in the G50 range.
Looking on the Shure site for antenna info, I was unable to find any.
The frequency range will require different antennas from the UHF gear but I remember someone mentioning a "compatible" antenna option.
The alternative is to just have separate antennsa for each system.
Can anyone direct me to more info? Thanks

Shure makes an ultra-wide-band distro that covers both VHF and UHF, however it can only do one band at a time and it still requires the correct antenna.

I found some Audio Technica ATW-A10 vhf antennae  to use with my older vhf gear.   these are omni instead of the directional.

Or the Shure site sucks and has sucked for years.  Probably not you.  :)  It would after all make sense to link ALL the system accessories from the page so you don't have to dig through the entire array of Shure accessories out there.  I think Sennheiser is worse though...
