I am repeating myself, but I would leave the heater disconnected until the temp sensor reads room temp.



Not great design if connectors can be plugged up wrong or backwards. It looks like the connectors are keyed so shouldn't plug up backwards.

Yeah, I told him to as much.  At least there is an alarm for screwed up connections.

Yeah, 3 identical connectors, 2 of which have identical wire colors.

There is an old saying about aircraft component design that any part that can be installed backwards, will be installed backwards at some point in the life of the aircraft.

This is true for electronic design too.

Even though I am the only person doing finally assembly on my current product I have designed in mechanical indexes and the like so i can't assemble it wrong if I tried.
