NIC management software
« on: January 30, 2017, 10:57:06 AM »

Hello,
I bounce around between quite a few different networks. Some systems require static IP's some don't. This requires me to adjust my Network Adapter settings often.  This process tends to become slightly tedious.  Are there any recommendations for software that can manage these settings, create profiles for different networks, and possibly easily transfer settings between multiple computers?  Thanks.

I have used several of the IP switching programs and they are OK, some better than others depending on your needs.

Most recently I have just been using the netsh in a script file.  Had a situation where a bunch of laptops were used by varius techs for system deployment and testing.  I just wrote a batch file for each config and put a link on the desktop.  1 click and done to switch config.  Replicating to all the laptops was just a folder copy. New config was simple, just copy one of the other files and change the settings in it.
