That is how you optimize pattern dispersion and make the highs and mids less directional.  Of course, the speaker should be facing the wall more for the effect to work best.  They must be using stereo steering in this set-up.

BLOSE Direct/Radiating, without the BOSE, or Direct ?

"How do want the truss to go up?"
"Anyway that's convenient for you"

"The speakers look loud. Better turn them away from the audience"

I DO like the white noise though. Well done Ivan.
Chris.
Years ago, in high school, a director asked if I could throw some Black Light "over there"
"Sure", I killed the light in that corner. "Perfect" says the director.
Oh well.

This is a big "maybe" but maybe that is an air wall and when opened up those speakers are part of a delay fill zone for a larger room configuration.

If that is the case maybe there is a DSP with various scenes for different room configs like shutting off the delay fills when the air wall is closed however I would bet that no one ever changes the scenes to match the room config!

Who knows if they're are scenes for different room configs they may automatically recall with the air wall positions.

Having said all of that I'm going with a DJ who installed the system as a favor for a friend who happens to be the building manager.

But since the projector is shining on the wall, that would mean that the speakers intended to cover the room would be BEHIND the people looking at the screen.

Or else that projector just stays on all the time (great for the bulbs-or at least those who sell the replacements) and something else is going on.

But if they are delays, then why are they aimed in like that?

Either I am missing something-or somebody else REALLY missed it--------

Looking at it again it's obvious...the "installer" wanted to reflect the sound off the screen so it was in sync with the light reflecting off of the screen.
