Used the search function...😇... could not find it. I remember some molded quad/other AC stage power boxes. Any info?

Have you checked out OA Windsor? Campfield, CBI, ProCo and others all make similar things to what you are looking for as well. Are you looking for Powercon stringer type boxes?

OA Windsor has a quad box that has Powercon in and Powercon out for the stringers. It makes a low profile locking connection. With a small assortment of cords, you can mix and match lengths to customize the distance between quad boxes for a clean looking stage.

+1

Ever since switching to OA Windsor and using SOOW 12/3 with PowerCon, our stages have been *clean*

Performers love them as well - lots of raves.

Despite its intended use, I didn't think these were NEC Compliant for use in mobile entertainment?

Really if you have more info on that I'd like to hear it. I own a bunch of them and just purchased several of the new HOSA knockoffs.

My understanding (and hence the ? in my previous post) is that all portable cords need to be extra hard usage (SO/SOOW) per NEC 520.68.  Barring a few very specific exceptions, lesser types of cord such as SJ are noncompliant from a code perspective for most usage on stages, portable or otherwise.  The product linked is certainly not SO/SOOW cable.  Is it illegal?  No, but your AHJ might not be happy if he/she sees you using it.
