RF in Croatia?
« on: September 11, 2016, 09:21:33 PM »

Has anybody dealt with RF in Croatia? I'm going to Split and Zagreb soon, and wondering what I'll be up against. I can't find any information on licensing, Wireless Workbench is bereft of DTV info, and there are no scans in Pete Erskine's excellent repository (Yes, I will contribute now I know it's there!)

Thanks,
mH

Had a colleague last year doing a show in Pula, not having troubles. He went with 16 channels of Shure UHFR-J5E.

This two pages might help you out. That, and Google translate:

http://www.degraf.hr/dvbt-kanali-dvb-t-frekvencije-zagreb.htm

This second one has a map with all the DTV transmitters in Croatia.

http://www.oiv.hr/broadcasting/tables/dtv_hr.aspx

Hope this helps you out. Have a good show.

EDIT: P.S. - Probabily a mod could move this post to the Wireless and Communications sub-forum. I guess it's natural place is there. ;)

Oh dear. I completely missed that. I don't think it existed last time I was here.

In Zagreb avoid DTV channels 25, 28, 42, 48, 53
In Split 33 and 53
Also avoid frequency 791-821/832-862 MHz because there is a 4G mobile phone network.
